Foreigners (Americans etc) seeking permission to enter the great white north are subject to Canadian requirements which includes being vaccinated.
Remember, the Jays couldn't even play in Toronto for a couple years because of the quarantine rules.

The logic is that the federal government of Canada believed it needed to protect its citizens and health care system and when the pandemic started they implemented rules requiring quarantines/isolation for people entering Canada, including citizens. Then they relaxed some of the rules for Canadian citizens but many still apply to non citizens. Canadian citizens have a right to enter Canada, foreigners need permission.
Some foreign athletes/entertainers still get caught up in the bureaucracy and are ineligible to enter the country due to their vaccination status.

All I can say is... I believe I caught Covid 1st week January 2020... went to the doctors and they just diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection. I was bedridden for about 8-9 days from what I remembered. The medicine they prescribed wasn't working... I coughed up blood for about 2 days. Never went to the hospital after initial doctor visit. Started taking Azithromycin 250mg as labeled "offshore". I always keep backup antibiotics jarred and sealed at home. I started taking that Day 5... and i noticed a huge difference on Day 8. I think it saved me from a mega disaster.
I haven't been sick since. This is the longest time in my life in which.... I never caught another flu... or upper respiratory infection. I can't speak for everyone.... as in... if you catch it once... are you protected from catching it again??? I'm unvaccinated too.
I wouldn't say my health is extremely wonderful... I'm 5'11'' and 203 lbs. and almost 45 years old.
I do feel most gyms are wiping equipment down more... and also... maybe offices... banks... are wiping things down more?? Maybe this has cut down on germs???
Usually I avg about being sick twice a year.... these are pre covid stats. Again, haven't had a major sickness since Covid... 1st week January 2020... before the media told anyone.Comment -
