Walked into the Mirage Book and said wow.

Think they once called it the Super Book.

25 years for me. i stayed there the weekend of pernell whitaker/de la hoya fight. 1st time in vegas was very memorable

Siegfried and Roy was one of the best shows in Vegas. You take a woman to that show and her draws were coming off later for sure. Nothing lasts forever. Sad.

The Mirage is the casino that began the destruction of Vegas history; it was the first mega resort.

This is pretty old news, but every Vegas source says it won’t close but will remain open as they transition to Hard Rock. RIP volcano though. Other rumors have the demolition of Luxor and Excalibur not too far off, though they are pretty rundown I would rather they renovate those so Vegas can keep some hotels that are fun with a them and not boring.

The Mirage is where I fell in love with sports betting.

Sitting in their Sportsbook in the mid-90’s was an awesome experience. Nothing else like it.

Also loved that smell of fresh pumped oxygen when you walked into the door.

Definitely some great memories.

I have many fond memories back in the day there. The Mirage was the best hotel on the strip at one time. I remember the fruity flowery carpet.

I went and stayed there when it was peaking. All the celebs and sport pro's would be there. All good things must come to an end. It's out dated now and a dump. Tear it down. Next.....
