Many years ago, when it got popular and started on TV a lot, it was quite amazing just how poorly/average some of these "pros" are. Or were. The stuff they chased or called with, etc was mind-boggling sometimes.

Problem is, they're not losing their own money in many cases. You want to give me big backing and a good bankroll? And sponsorships, etc? Sure, I'll play lots of awful hands hoping to look like a genius.
