Like Opti said the other day, he believed that problem was not on SBR's end, had nothing to do with any sort of upgrades, I'm 98 percent certain he was correct all along.
Every time a user, me, Opti, Jake, whoever opens a page e-Commerce related, albeit Walgreens to buy nasal spray, Jersey Mike's to order a roasted beef, heavy on the onions, go to Fan Graphs to check on some baseball data, whatever, you are in a sense asking them a question like "What's on sale today", "What did Jeter hit against Pedro lifetime, or "Can I get fries with the RB sub"... what ever that's what laymen call a "user request"
All e-Commerce business's rely on other sources for information too.
Nobody (except a select few) warehouses all the data needed to complete a transaction, for instance if you need to fund your Fan Duel account, and you want to use you Amex card to do so, you (the user) sends the request to Fan Duel to reup your account, Fan Duel receives that request, Fan Duel can't complete the transaction until they send their own user request to the AMEX folks (resources). them AMEX will give the go ahead to Fan Duel regarding is your request good or declined...

The more information (data) needed and more resources required to complete a transaction obviously there is a greater chance of a hiccup or two along the way.
The common computer user doesn't realize the ton of shit that runs in background.
That's the purpose of the back office, to alleviate the pressure on the front end, generally, not always it's the backend that handles the data needed that the front end requests, an or, needs.
Looks like to me, like I posted the other day, but I'm not 100 percent certain is that SBR was sending a request to the google analytics server asking for certain data they needed, and for reasons unknown to me at this time google was really slow to respond, really slow.
Why do I say this?
Because I'm an IT geek, and I like to know what's going on in the background when I do business on the web.
There's tracking cookies involved, other sites use those tracking cookies to collect your personal data as to target your spending habits, and on and on and on.
The more you know as to what's going on when it comes to personal or business finances, the safer your chances are.Comment -

Hi All,
Apologies for the downtime. The issue had to do with the routing of a service that was lagging. Has since been fixed to respond faster, so the intermittent 500 errors and slow loading should be resolved.
If anyone still continues to see a 404 page not found, please let us know.

So far Trivia is the only issue I've seen at SBR on the ipad, iphone, and desktop over the last two days.
I thought perhaps the Trivia was my fault as I logged in on the ipad and then messed with my breakfast. When I looked at the ipad I saw the trivia but couldn't get to the first question. I figured I caused it to time out.
Otherwise, all seems well anywhere I navigate the site.Comment -
it was 504 now it is 404. I also cant imbed videos or quote q persons post. The post just tries to load but doesnt. kinda like the old aol dialup. Hope this makes it thru.

I get it with any page mostly political. I just posted a video in political that took me 15 minutes of 404’s before it posted. Tough to answer you back cause it may take me ten minutes to get back to you when in fact it should take 3 seconds.Comment -
