    This is a great story of perseverance. This kid was the #1 overall pick in the MLB drat in 2013 by the Astros. He never had much success in the minors before getting traded to the Phillies in 2015. He had more down times and then was designated for assignment in 2017. He quit in 2018 and had surgery on his arm in case he ever changed his mind. He did and returned in 2021 and got called up recently and made his MLB debut last night. He is the oldest ever #1 overall pick to make his debut. Pretty cool story and hard not to root for this guy.

        Watching the interviews on that link, this kid gave up on baseball and life, went through depression and down times.

        This is the type of feel good story they should be showcasing in the media.
