I bet trends mostly in MLB and in other sports also when I get lazy capping. Team trends, player prop trends, you can even find teams that win one game and then lose one game streaks, etc.
It's the only way to bet if you don't want to spend half your day capping games and really work the numbers and stats.
If a team is super hot or super cold you bet accordingly and ride it. That then never becomes a bad bet.
You will start paying the juice on the lines but it still pays off if those streaks continue which they usually do. If the juice is too much then you can gamble and play the run lines +1.5 or -1.5 to reduce the juice..
The key is picking up on those streaks winning or losing! It's not rocket science!
Power gamblers that love action fade streaks and go broke trying to guess..

Good gamblers stay away from the brand names, sometimes they're money, usually not.
Cowboys, Notre Dame, Yanks, Dodgers, all brand names.
Yanks are money right now, but at -200 or more every game now (or just about -200) they're going to have to maintain this ridiculous .733 pace.
If you multiply .733 x 162 you get 118.74
Round up you get 119.
NYY are on a pace to (shatter is a bad word to apply in this case) break the all time mark of 116 games (2001 Mariners)
What the Yankees are doing in almost inconceivable.
119 games won in a 162 game season has never been done, MLB isn't set up that way.
There must be a regression at some time, you know like a five or six game losing streak.
