I had the NBA sims live betting figured out. Only a few sites offered 12min quarters.

Was just waiting until 4min left of the game and then hammered the team that was up if it was a -3.5 to -5.5 live spread. Was never a single comeback and the trailing team kept fouling the last minute to ensure the spread was covered. Killed it for 3 months, then they did something with the settings.

It's a grind.
A lot of research, a lot of numbers.
It can be fun, sucks when you lose though.
Stick around, nobody says you have to quit posting.
Sometimes you get a good perspective from somebody with no skin in the game.

I've gone to AA and even NA because I was court ordered...
I agree that willpower over your actions and mind over matter is a much better way to approach your addictions. I have to admit though hearing those people tell these crazy stories in those meetings, and even relating to some of them, put things into perspective. It was mostly like "phew im glad im not there yet" but there was always something there that made me think "shit, i hear them."

I think these stories of dudes taking out loans to get down to cover losses puts things into perspective for me too. Im down fk all units lifetime but I'm glad I haven't gotten to that point. That's useful to me....

12 step programs are a time tested and proven method for putting addiction in remission. Some people cannot use "will power" to stop, they need something else. Others can stop but cannot be truly happy in their lives without the skills that 12 step programs teach.

Having accountability to a community of like minded people is a powerful motivator. Many of the people in the fellowships of 12 step programs have learned and will pass along valuable skills that people can use in times of crisis. Plus like JayLA says, the stories are fukkin amazing.

They are not a cult, not a religion, and are free to attend if you think you have a problem. I would recommend everyone attend an open meeting of AA just to see what it's like.
