Avs win the cup tonight

Tampa had a shot to win in game 3 hitting the post with a couple minutes left when the game was tied 2-2 but then the Avs really put on the pressure and it continued into OT where they totally outplayed the Bolts. It was only a matter of time until they scored the winner.

Tamps is hurting. They block more shots than any team I have seen and its taken its toll. I admit, I was rooting for them to 3Peat and I have nothing against Colorado except for the fact they have that dirty POS Kadri on their team. McKinnon has been great for years and it will be nice to see him win a cup. They deserve it. Tampa knows they are overmatched.

I will be shocked if this goes back to Florida for Game 6. Tampa pulls the goal down by a couple and the Avs score a couple empty netters.

Avs won on the road against 3 teams that are not the champs. This game was the Avs best chance to win the Cup and did not play smart at all.
No way would I bet against the Bolts at home in game 6.
Then the pressure is really on the Avs to win at home in a game 7 for the Cup against a team that has just done that 2 years in a row.

Reminds me of quite possibly the greatest finals in Stanley Cup history in 1994 when the NYR were up 3-1 against Bure and the Canucks. Then Vancouver won in game 5 and game 6 in Vancouver only to lose in a nail biter in Game 7 in NY.

Didn't watch the game, but was quite surprised to find out in the morning that Tampa won it. I'd still bet a team, a better team, at home leading 3-1 to win the Cup after overtime win in previous game.
