The Dodgers haven't had a bad stretch like that. Yankees are not only losing, they're doing it to bad teams like Oakland and Anaheim.

exactly. the quality of the losses suck. didn't even realize lead is now at 7 games.

Funny thing about MLB GM's, they're like NFL place kickers or place kick holders.
They only get noticed when there's a clusterfuck.

New Yorkers want to run Cashman out of town now, but forget he was a big part of NYY success in the late 90's.
Same in KC, Royals fans wanted to string up Dayton Moore four years ago when KC fell back to last place, but forgot Moore was the genius that sent the Royals to the WS back to back operating on a welfare ghetto budget.

Red Sox are even a bigger mess.
Cashman and O'Halloran should know better than to hand out killer contracts to players like Sale, and Stanton for example.

Moore (now the VP of the Royals) couldn't buy players, he was totally dependent on the draft and occasional trade.
Moore got a bad rap, which is no big deal because he got promoted to VP and selected his protégé J.J. Picollo as GM

all good things must come to an end. i think cashman is just at the end of his time with the yankees and they need a new leader in the front office.

              most def.

Right now he's about the only one on the team hitting homers and he's been hot lately so I think he will hit 65 this year. New Yankees record coming soon.

Of course not, after the 35-5 start they went 69-53.

Funny thing about those 162 game seasons, things almost always level off.
                          15-26 since the break.

them needing to win each game now might be just what he needed. can't take the rest days, knows he needs to perform, etc.

Good point. Interesting to see if they will pitch to him. That scrub from the Twins thought he would out smart Judge. Judge slammed the hammer down on him.

i love seeing him hit HR's and it is great for my rookie card and other judge memorabilia. that is the fan in me. the bettor in me who fades the yankees a lot more recently wonders why you would even challenge him with this line up as it is.

baldelli has to be really dumb, or just does not pay attention. bombers lineup is missing half their key hitters, and then looked like stanton got hurt again taking a swing. not that he was hitting much since coming back anyway.
If the twins pitch to Judge tonight and the next 2 games to follow? then they get what they deserve

baldelli is very low IQ, a real dummy. there goes #55 on a 2-1 pitch, and no reason whatsoever to pitch to him at all with their lineup today
