This feels wrong to me. Line became inflated due to injury to Tina Charles, but I think without her this opens up opportunities for Tarasi and Diggins and things might flow a little better in the short term. Mercury also got absolutely blown out on Tuesday at Atlanta, then Tarasi pulled a Hoosiers and got thrown out of their last game against Chicago and they almost won, so I think despite the terrible start to the season that things are getting back on track. However a long-ass article came out on ESPN the other day about how we shouldn’t be surprised that they have sucked. Now of course they see this right? That’s bulletin board material for a league that rarely gets lengthy press. Also Connecticut got a big win last night at LV after losing there the game before. Back to backs aren’t super common in the WNBA and after the big win in particular I think Sun are in a bit of a fade spot.
