What do you think of the strat:
after 10 mins in:
1) buy +.5
wait for line to cross to profit: ex. if -150, opp. -.5 must go to +150 for b/e
wait some more....
2) can either wait full result (risky, esp in extra time) or book profit anywhere along the way. Longer wait, higher profit.
don't have to leave bookie screen up. Goaloo1.com has live odds and a favorite feature with sound, etc.
3) if miss/lose, then take other side with a) profit from bet 1, or b) principal from bet 1, depending upon strength of opp
note: better calculations are possible but time-consuming. It is essentially a loss-reduction technique.
works best with +0.5, not +1.5 or higher, if one waits long enough, those will reduce to lesser goal... making hedging out too costly, because the original goal differetial hasn't changed.. if they reduce, then you must take the lower odd and hope to catch the middle (do nothing) or your team to score instead.. but only do this with a) profit from 1, otherwise your throwing your gains away. Note: this is only necessary if your book does not keep up the original spread you took. Some do, but many do not.
also - if pre-match and not on +0.5 then must start with both dog side AND draw, or only draw if you think the dog side really has no chance of winning.
