What exactly is Simmons getting paid for? A pay stipulation is perfectly OK. Something like Base salary $X, plus $Y for each game played.

Better response is fan boycott. Why pay for this shit? Why buy a ticket when you might be seeing Developmental League players?

That's funny - I hadn't even watched the clip, but he's 100% right. There's no way the owners will not use this as a tool to grind the players.
