#15I'm retired now at age 54. Life is good and I don't have to worry about money anymore. I can gamble daily and do all the things that I love. I do have a little to much free time on my hands and that can sometimes get me in trouble with the drink though. Too much free time is the devils play ground.
I may still start another small business up again one day if I get to bored being retired just to be around people.. IDK?
Content, healthy and happy today. Can't ask for much more in life..

#32One question I would ask of retirees:
*Props if you retire early. What event would cause you to COME OUT OF RETIREMENT?
Everyone would like to have some extra time to do as you like. Certain economic events or personal situations could lead one to change course.
If you're retired, any chance you return to the work force? What if the offer is too good to turn down?Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#34Semi retired now, I still work remote some, I semi retired two years ago when the pandemic was in full force.Originally posted by pilebuck13Not looking the best probably 65
I can see me working well past 65 on my terms only though, the days of schlepping to an office building are over for me, I can do from home what I've been doing from a data center for 20 years.
As of now I really don't see the need to work past 65, we'll cross that bridge when I get there.Comment -

#35I retired last year at 63. What event would cause one to Come Out Of Retirement? To get away from their old lady would be the #1 reason. Everyday is a holiday for me.Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatOne question I would ask of retirees:
