LA District attorney declined to press charges because the evidence is circumstantial (text messages). There is no video of the alleged crimes or a medical report that the woman suffered injuries.

This is why after something like this happens you got to document the evidence by a doctor.

If you wait months to do it then you will by challenged in court by the defense attorneys.

Like if someone punches you in the face you got to file the police report when your have a black eye and your nose is bleeding.

If you go to the police in 6 months to file a report then it becomes difficult to prove without witnesses.

So the MLB commisioner is getting a lot of heat from womens groups to do something else they will boycott the MLB and lose the sponsors. It has nothing to do with the ethnicity of the player like MinnieDumbs says. A black guy would have the same thing happen to him like Deshawn Watcon in NFL who didn't play last year.
