Subway is rubbish but Jersey Mike's is quality.
Never had the Firehouse but I hear they're good too.
Firehouse is better than Subway (which isn’t saying much) but not as good as Jersey Mike’s.
Jersey Mike’s is my goto for chain subs.

Just make your own sandwich.
This month I have been making a bunch, and they taste amazing.
Turn oven on at 500 degrees.
Grab sourdough bread. Brown mustard with medium cheddar cheese on one side. Mayo, turkey, tomato on the other.
Put it in the oven for 5 minutes. Put the sandwich together.
Throw some avocado on there.
Cut and eat.
Better than any sandwich I've bought in a very long time. I think heating it up just ads so much flavor to it.

Quizno's has gone pretty much belly up.
Two-thirds of their shops have been shuttered up since 2019.
Subway pretty much put Blimpie's out of business.
Actually they did put them out of business.
Subway, albeit it garbage makes a fortune on volume.
I love the History Channel, they run a weekly series "The Food That Made America", watch it all the time.
Amazing back stories and the facts you learn from that show.
Last month they featured the Krispy Kreme vs. Dunkin Donuts historic war.
Fascinating, but that's another story for another day.

There was definitely some sort of foul play at work with the Quiznos thing. They went from super popular, basically invented quick serve sandwich toasting at least on a large scale, then they just disappeared. Must have been the Satanists at work

Leveraged buyout gone wrong and an avalanche of bad business decisions sunk Quiznos.

The sauce is actually Sauce Gardner that will be covering Wilson's sub all over.

Quiznos went downhill when Subway did the $5 footlongs. Since Quiznos used better quality meats they couldn't compete with Subway. People are willing to eat imitation meat or tuna so they can get $5 dollar sub instead of paying $7 or $8 to eat real meat.

They are not five dollars anymore bro, The cheapest one is like seven dollars and that’s like the cold cut combo trash meat shit. Only time I eat there is when I can find a BOGO code & get two subs for 8-9 dollars for me & my son.

For all of you not in the know-- Diggity is speaking gospel here. It's a chain, albeit a small one. Denver, Phoenix, maybe a few others and as of a couple years ago one here in Riverside. Delicious sandwiches, all named after a type of cannibis and the decor inside is an ode to all things marijuana. If you come across one-- get a sandwich.

Gotta find a local sub shop outside the chains. I have two sub shops that make the best sub sandwiches near me. One is called Bay Cities and the other House of Dough. These subs can't be beat.
Subways is ok on the fly but their meats are suspect. Eat fresh is overrated with the meats. More like eat frozen processed garbage.

Spicy Italian double meat and cheese.
Jalapenos onions and salt and pepper with little vinegar and oil is the only thing I'll get at subway
