I got in an Uber last week

It was missing a hub cap and the rear wheel was a donut

EVERY light on Akbahrs dash was lit

We got pulled over for failing to signal and the cop let him go....then there was steam from the engine.

I made it home but WTF

Seriously it's tough to call the FAVORITE movie of all time. I loved movies like One Flew over the Cukoo's Nest and Shawshank Redemption.

Anyone who says Taxi Driver is overrated is a little piece of chicken. I rewatched this one recently and can say the one thing that strikes me about it is there is not a single wasted line or scene. It has a real gritty feel to it, and the Bernard Herrmann score contributes to that quite a bit. It reminds me, in some odd way, of Halloween. Take out the score and it's probably an average movie. But with the tension and build up, and the way it was shot, to better deliver the impact in key sequences, it absolutely delivers. Keitel's scenes are priceless.
