you can only hold Durant back so long before he explodes for a 40+ game
rare to see him shooting poorly past couple outings
Nets win

First of all
Brooklyn only has Kyrie and Durant
And kyrie has been in space and Durant mediocre
As for mil they play as a team
So does the my heat if u get past mil
Obviously all of Boston thinks they are the best team
But they are in for a rude awakening
Tatum chokes a lot
Just like they think mac jones is a good qb
Highly overrated

So you don’t notice the lockdown D that they having been playing and all the league is talking about?
Milwaukee plays a team game yes, but they don’t have the 1-2 super stars like the Nets and the Celts have them razzled.

And the last half of the year no one has played better especially on the defensive end.
Some talking heads are even saying they could be the best defensive team ever.

Wow..
They look good to the league Bc Brooklyn has been overhyped all year
All u have to do is double Durant
Mil has shooters when Giannis isn’t driving
A big man w Lopez who yes thinks he’s a three pt specialist but better than what Brooklyn has

Anyone who says that
With the way the basketball league in general play defense doesn’t know sports
It’s a different game now
Give me pj tuckers defense anyday over any of Boston defenders
Plus Steve Nash bad coach
Doesn’t know his ass from

Ill be the first to say Miami isn’t the best team they ever had or close
Adebayo takes off games
Overrated
Butler only shows up in playoff’s but shouldn’t get the ball in the last min of games
Spoelstra not a hood coach etc
But one injury changes everything
But Boston is a good team
Not great
And why didn’t Udoka take out Pritchard after he played so well first half?

The most accurate post here. These guys are done.
Maybe Kyrie can argue with someone about how he’s set for life after the sweep.
Maybe KD can tell us all it’s “just hoop” and people don’t know the game like he does.
Maybe Ben Simmons can… well, just retire man.

I agree. Both teams play stifling defense. That would be a dog fight of a series. Ali/Frazier.
Still hard for me to count the Bucks out just yet though. A part of me says they're extremely overrated but they are the defending champs.

Do you really think Kyrie wants to go back to Boston??? To endure all that heat? Hell no. Kyrie is done. He won't show up tonight. Not happening. I'll be surprised if he scores double digits tonight.

They are not getting past Boston without a healthy Middleton. I don't think Boston is giving them easy open looks all day like Chicago has.

Agreed. Bettors seeking value may already see it in Brooklyn but as that line drops it will only increase the value.
Boston has gone from the moneyline nobody wants in the Foster thread to the public taking them on the road against the Nets.
I think the shift has happened.
Even with the matchups and recent performance, different levels of percentage stacking "sharp" Forecasts vary but do see a Nets win.
My non predictive public gauge shows Boston winning by 5 points.
I don't know who will win, this game is loaded, but the environment for the Nets is developing there. For what it's worth.
I think this is why they are a slight favorite, the books like the way they have split the money and I think they didn't mind generating some Boston action early, and as that action gains traction, they will start seeking those Nets bettors.
I think we saw a similar mechanism at work in the Phoe/NO series.
Good Luck whatever you bet.

The Celtics line has steamed down a full point from +2 to +1. I get the sense that the Celtics are all-in on this game. They need to get rest for players like Robert Williams, they don't want to have to deal with an upgraded Nets defense if Ben Simmons is back for games 5-7, and they don't want to open up a window for the Kyrie and KD to figure out the Celtics defense and make the series close.
OTOH, the Celtics are super public, on the road, and pretty close in value to the Nets. I'm leaning toward a small bet on Boston, but at only +1 I may just lay off.
Just my opinion...

Point of seeking rest is still valid though. It's a broader point and often considered by bettors.
Tough to turn it into a predictive metric though.
Sort of off topic but I have been saying that when it comes to capping the NBA, especially the long regular season, it can be more about capping the percentage chance a player even plays.
This is the new forefront of NBA capping as load management becomes a thing. There are sophisticated bettors and models that are beginning to work on regressions here.
Note they manage load regular season, but expand the playoffs for more games, like the play in tourney.
