Try my best not to be confrontational, but some people are ridiculous. So it rarely happens.
Gambling and mood can be divorced. I suppose it depends on why you gamble.
For some, it can never be divorced. For others, it's a work in progress.
But for sustained gamblers, it's simple not an issue.

You don't have to be? Do something with a friend or family or if nothing else go to a casino and talk sports or poker with other degenerates. Nobody has funnier stories then long time gamblers
A little daily exercise or a walk will do wonders for you too. I get sick of being in the house all the time watching games (even though I love it) so I get a job for 3 months and cash the hiring bonus then I make something up and quit. I'm retired military so I can get away with it.
Caught about a 4 pound bass 2 summers ago. That was fun as hell!Comment -

Buck, I would counter with this:
1) A winning gambler is actually very relaxed. You go through your routine. If nothing changes, you know the LONG-TERM results that you'll be seeing. You accept the challenge. And you accept the inherent variance.
2) Losing gamblers take on a lot of negative traits. It's a reflection of life. If you're a losing gambler, you likely have poor routine. You may have addictive tendencies. Need to get back to the drawing board and stop blaming others.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

Had a great example this week in USFL once again comeout on the right side. Can't ask for anything more than that.
That makes me happy.
Winning in here, with posted plays, including that upset in USFL not in here, and 1-1 nba UNDERS with the last UNDER of the night pending...
But it's the story being told and the lessons coming out in USFL that makes me happy. Got lucky to win too, but not worried about that.
I hope some find it a good read in my effort to teach broader principles using USFL as an example. A real time example.
Or might mic drop it now in week 2, because there's so much already packed into the thread and consider a chapter closed...
