The Warriors clawed out a win, but they were clearly affected by the sudden news that Kerr had Covid. It was more due to the abrupt change, as Brown was already on his way to the stadium before learning about Kerr's testing positive. He got tested because he felt symptoms. Neither the team nor Brown had a day of practice to talk about the game plan. From what I could tell, Brown didn't make any in-game adjustments that Kerr is known to do. The offense was more hesitant or perhaps it was Adams who can clog up a large area. In-game adjustments were probably needed because Memphis is a different team with Adams at Center. Also, Dillon Brooks was back. It is likely that without the sudden Kerr news, Warriors would have adjusted sooner.
Anyway, I'm sure Brown with Kerr's advice will put the Warriors in a position to close this series out in Memphis. That would be best for them, and give them a longer rest period for the players and Kerr while he is in the protocol.
