I just finished reading "The Fast Ride" Spectacular Bid and the undoing of a sure thing.

It's currently the number 1 Best seller in horse racing on Amazon.

If anyone wants to know exactly what horse racing backstretch life was all about in the 70's and 80's I highly encourage you to read this book.

It is basically a tell all book .

It will shock you !

Once you start reading, you won't put it down. And, it is all true as I remember it.

The book took me back in time to 1978 and forward and I can honestly say it felt weird at times as I read, and recalled those moments.

And yeah, I'm in it, albeit very briefly. Thankfully.

not a big book reader either but sounds interesting..my earliest interest in the game started a year before (I was 15) with the affirmed/alydar
rivalry..consider getting it with kindle
