Miami was supposed to have an F1 race in 2019. Vietnam was supposed to have a race in 2020. Until 2023 i'm going to gently pump the brakes.

Not happening on Sunday.

Practice will be Thursday, quals on Friday with the race on Saturday.

It's a night race. It will start at 10pm local time.

The goal is to reach a prime time American audience as well as early Sunday English audience.

I know some plans for F1 have fallen through the last couple of years but Vegas will be resurfacing the streets for this one.

There is a multi year contract.

It will be called the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Many events are named after the country or region they take place, but not for Miami, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, and now Las Vegas.

Can't fukkin wait. I will be there, likely staying in a comped room. Will be asking Caeser's about rooms with the F1 view, but I think we migh be able to get closer at another spot.
