I agree with this. I thought they'd struggle with Arians. Their schedule is very difficult. The only thing they have going is the weak division, but who knows what the other teams will eventually put on the field.

The Arians retirement doesn't pass. Why did he wait until March 30, just 2 weeks after Brady comes back? Now you can say he did that to make sure one of his assistants got the head job, waiting until the other teams all hired. But that was never in doubt regardless of when he quit. Bowles or Leftwich would have gotten the job if he quit in January.

Arians will do a year behind the scenes then likely put his name out there for a job in 2023, and yes, at 71 he'd still get hired if the team was a ready to win team. Brady made a huge mistake here. He originally signed a 2-year deal, and after the Super Bowl, he extended it for a third year. If he didn't do that, he could have walked and went anywhere. Now, he's stuck in Tampa for another year until he can go somewhere else. I don't believe he's playing one more year, I think he plays at least 2 more.
