They look like a strong contender this year. Think it'll be hard to beat this team 4 times in a series. I think the lightning to me might still be the favorite, but a three peat is hard, a ton of miles on those bodies. On paper they have the best team. Last year +750 to win it all was free money. Toronto picked up a key piece at the trade deadline. The problem I see for this team is goaltending. It is a question mark, but you never know who can come up big in the playoffs. Other than that, the roster itself on paper looks very strong. Usually the best roster goes on to win cups, that's what we've seen with Tampa, what we saw with washington when they won, pit, list goes on. I'm not sure if Toronto has it this year, but let's discuss.

#2In the NHL, if you can make the playoffs you can win the cup; +1300 is too low of a price though.Comment -

#4Cups are all about rosters to me. Ppl were telling me no way last year when I picked Tampa to win only based on the roster. I don't think Florida's roster looks that strong. You don't have many hall of fame type players on it.Originally posted by kimwash78Florida wins it

#5I dont really follow hockey or the leafs. But like the broadcasters here have been saying for the last 6-7 years "this is our year"..... We haven't had a goalie in 6-7 years and nothing has changed. I would say pass but tbh don't know jack shit about hockeyOriginally posted by Goat MilkThey look like a strong contender this year. #8It's a good roster I agree just not sure if it has that "it" factor. I could be wrong. Toronto just seems to have a bunch of stars in the prime of their careers. Austin Matthews is the best two way player in the game today. Reminds me a lot of Pavel Datsyuk. This toronto team has a very very strong core of about 7 or 8 players, so I don't know. Still thinking about it.Originally posted by kimwash78Future hof not even in doubt

#11Like Boston at +1600 and higherOriginally posted by Goat Milkany pick on yoru end?
Dallas at +4000 or higher
Washington at +2500 or higher
Every team has good value except the top four and I don't see Colorado, Florida, Carolina, Calgary winning the cup.
Regular season means nothing.Comment -

#12No chance laffs win a cup in my lifetime. They are mental midgets when it comes to the playoffs - have all the talent in the world, but no desire, hustle, or grit to win when it really matters. They can't beat Tampa, Bruins, and probably not even Capitals or Penguins. Ironically, they match up best against Carolina and Florida.
Fade this team to the bank, I've been a fan of this team for all my life and all they bring is misery and disappointment.Comment
