Men, I do not believe anyone is beating these Books?
These Books of today seem to have found a way to beat your brains out so bad, you lose focus and your confidence, too. And your money, too. My worst year by far and I keep wondering; "How have I got myself in this position where I can't seem to a pick a winner?
I do not have a year I can remember where I didn't come out ahead of the Books?
This year seems different and I am simply puzzled as to how and why they are clobbering me.
Okay, I've always been too confident and too competitive. Not a good combo.

And this year I have even lost my cool and soon after, my money. And if I do start losing, I try to focus on the why and the reason.

    * Okay, I do believe I haven't taken this season serious enough, believing, oh, I'll come back and get my money back sooner or later. Well, it's going to be later, if even at all?
The answer: The very best handicappers of today, I really believe are struggling, too?
I know by next football season I will either be fully prepared or wait till basket season.
And when baskets kick in again I expect to have my guns fully loaded and oiled up, because you cannot come back not fully prepared unless you enjoy throwing your cash to the wind?

*I know this much, my routine wagering plans are not working this year, so I have to find out, why, like I said, or just throw the towel in.
** They also force you to go with bitcoins and I don't like that. And if you don't, it seems you'll get fees from 2 directions?
    Does that sound fair?

*** I think these Books have finally got the gamblers where they want them? Not having a prayer.
And this idea of "parity, with sports teams," seems to be happening, too?
Another hurdle a gambler just cannot overcome.

"Guys, somethings got to give for the players?"

**** If you see something I said wrong, go right ahead let me hear you?

I haven't thought about this subject too deeply, but it seems to me we are getting more OT's than we did before the 3-shot came in?
        Very late in the game....
If you are down by 2 you can go for a 2 or a 3 fg.
If you're down by 3, sure, you'll have to go for a three to tie.

So, with these two options where at one time you only had 1 obvious option, more ot's will happen.

I am 90% sure it's too late this season?
I am snoozing quite a bit now and just hoping for my [too many] futures will help lift me out of the hole.
And a few will not be possible till the fall of 2024. You can guess? , is it Trump or ........

Just the usual "I can't seem to win, so nobody must be winning" fallacy.

                Gambling: expected negative return.
Stock market: expected positive return. Last 5 years DJ 15% annual return.

                You're playing the wrong game.

Has my luck suddenly changed? Yes, luck is a major part of winning and losing, like it or not.
I just won my first OT since I can't remember
[Murray]? I do remember losing like 4 of the previous OTs where I was a winner in 40 minutes of play.

Okay, I have sneaked back into the arena, very slowly.
If you've noticed, college basketball has moved into a "parity scenario?"
Unbelievable things called upsets, seem to be almost expected in this tourney, for instance.
Another ace dealt to the already fat Book.

My biggest weakness, or is my biggest asset?
I love to compete and competing with these 2022 Books is much like taking on the champion Gladiator in the ancient arena.
                    I am supposed to lose!
But I have won so many Gladiator battles in my past, I just cannot believe it till I see it?
We will soon see just down the road?

*Iowa, dammit, I had good odds on them for a future. Parity at it's best.

JJ, I mentioned that very thing on the thread topic.
Can't win every year would be more like it? Decades of gambling experience is only good for 1 day when you do just that.
And as I mentioned many times, we aren't dealing with 1970/80 Books anymore. They have revolutionized their offense and defense to a level that is very near being unbeatable, period.

G.L., JJ, at least you seem not to be promoting gambling like I thought you were doing in the past.

*JJ, Were you able to win some serious bucks in the 80's, 90's?
