The hours on the clock are just a man made construct. Not one other species on the planet gives a sht. Just pick dst or standard time don’t care which just stick with one. It’ll suck for some and good for others in the short term based on the industry you’re in. Let the free market let businesses and school districts figure out what hours of operation works for them and nobody is stopping them from changing their hours based on the season. In an ever growing interconnected world all this spring forward backward nonsense is a nightmare in business and always causes confusion. It’s also a nightmare in tech. Anytime I need to code Anything time related I want to shoot myself in the face.

I'm not a big fan. I also think that if they are going to do it, it should be reversed so we fall forward in the fall and spring back in the spring.

Are there any studies of how road kill is affected? I think there is a disruption in the natural world and wildlife that likes to hang out by the road is not able to adjust to the new traffic pattern disruption in a flick of the switch.
