The comparison of Cousins with Dan Marino seems very apt,, great arm talent, I am a die hard dolphins fan, but Marino was a loser who shat himself perpetually in big playoff moments and couldn’t galvanize his team around him consistently. Quarterbacking is 90% mental.Comment -

It is like comparing apples to oranges on qb stats. Cousins earned touchdowns on his own. The defense did not hand him very many great turnovers and average field position was not very good.
I will admit some of the passing stats came from being behind all the time. Some teams shut down Cook by loading up the box. So, the balance wasn’t there in those cases. He was passing a lot when the other team knew he was passing.
Go watch him play in person. Watch a couple pre season practices. TV is not the way to evaluate a player.Comment -
