They knew they were going to dump us in October. Just stringing us along with empty promises. If this site meant anything to the new ownership, they would be communicating weekly with their customers, it's not that hard. If this site is not part of your business model, let us know.
Seems like scams hit some of these sites and some posters end up getting screwed. Looks like we are next in line. The mods aren't to blame, they are as much victims as the rest of us.

We talk to each other constantly, you know what I do too.
My money is on the software needs a complete overhaul, mainly servers.
Request-response is shaky at best.
Request-response is the basic method computers 'talk' to each other.
You (or I) is the requestor, I want to see for instance, the latest posts of the day.
I click on the hyper link in the upper right here 'recent posts' asking the responder (SBR) to show me please.
I sent the request with no problem, lately SBR (the responder) is saying, "I did respond, but it's taking forever to get back to you sometimes, sometimes it gets help up in the exchange"
Programs have set 'time-out' parameters.
After a set amount of time (maybe 10 or 20 seconds) if the exchange isn't completed, your request times, or cancels out.
Those 502 messages are generally client-server errors.
SBR relies on database servers, web servers, application servers...
They need to be looked at or replaced with better software, just like your F10 pickup needs at times to be looked at by an ASE auto-mechanic.Comment -
