    My Duke worries
I noticed Banchero has been shooting so few baskets in the first half, just like against Louisville yesterday where he only had 2 fgs by half. And again in the former game, I believe, same thing 2 fgs.
So my suspicions I had of him a month ago are probably right.
He has some injury or a physical ailment of some type?

How about this unbelievable start from freshman Griffin, at 6-6 and a large 222 lbs.. He is hitting at a eye-opening 50% with 3's.
K has a way of finding game-changers like Griffin. He went 5 of 5 on killer threes yesterday and Duke needed all them.
This guy has 2 or 3 years to become a multi millionaire. The NBA loves players who can shoot that 3.

I like the Irish plus the points. they are 9-0 at home 6-3/Ats. duke with Unc on the horizon, possible look-ahead spot for them.
home court edge will be big for Nd, place will be rocking. keels questionable, could likely miss his fourth consecutive game. but the Irish play very good team defense that should keep this a close game, and when taking the home dog? always important to have the edge from the line. Nd a far better free throw shooting team vs Duke (away/home)

          Excellent observation, Stake.
After yesterday's loss, I only started a small 5-team parlay, using Duke.
It probably depends on Banchero quite a bit? He has that physical problem that seems to have him play rather "tight" early on and it looks like he comes around after the first half looking like a better player for sure?
So looking at your post, yes, you should win..if the B-guy doesn't play any better than he has for a month or so?

Why didn't I see it your way? I am still stunned with another loss where my team seems to just quit and lay down to die.

I do not like betting Duke on the road as a favorite, unless they are playing a bad free throw shooting team. duke is shooting 63% from the stripe on the road. Nd is 72% at home. yes, if the refs let it be a grab fest, that will not factor at all. but if it is a close game? free throws can make the difference late with regards the spread.
Good luck on your 5-teamer Abe!

Hah, I'll need it. I'll pull for you this time for I "expect" to lose.

He had a lot of issues with cramping early in the year. Maybe he is conserving energy early to avoid that.

Yes, probably so. I remember just a few games ago, for two games in a row he was 2 for 4 and 2 for 5, or maybe even a 1 for 3 in both first halves.

Funny stuff, Stake. Banchero only had 7 points not too long before half.
