Goldy, this might be your best post in some time. My outlook:
*Sports-betting = slow death. The house edge is modest. Slow, unless you play the board.
*Table games = slow death. If you have any clue, you're playing to a very low House Edge.
*Horses = fast death. The races come too fast, if you're in a parlor with Off-track races. The House Edge is HUGE. Can go even bigger if you play exotics. Horse-betting truly is a graveyard.
*Poker = fast death. Faster than people think. It's very hard, the rake is stripping $$ off the table constantly. There's no way the Fish can re-plenish the dead $$ fast enough.
*Fantasy = moderate death. Very hard to gain an edge on the field. There are people out there transmitting information faster than you.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -
