Sometimes when all subs are made and the goalie gets a red card you see outfield players play goalie. Everyone has played as a goalie at some point in their youth years.

Can't recall it happening Pre-game. Has also happened in NHL (fwiw), where top 2 goalies are hurt and Emergency goalie (provided by league) comes in to play.

I'm gonna say he's going to look like a Fish out of Water. Goal-keeper skill set is pretty unique:

*Working with the defenders to control the Offsides Trap.
*Playing the angles. Top goalies know exactly where they can't be beat.

Surprise angle. I think Cameroon -2.5 looks great. Goalies also distribute the ball to get the offense going, Comoros is getting shut out today.

The defense sucks anyways. They gave up 2 against Ghana after a red card. With a different team I would think this an overreaction but in this case could be warranted

Yes. At every NHL game, an emergency goalie is standing by in case he's needed and he's available to both teams. It's usually a local resident who played goalie in college, the minors, etc.

quite often my ass. What once every 10.000 games? And like trinity said for a few minutes.

Off the dome I recall Turkey v Czech Republic Euro 2008 and once more in some 3rd division few years back which I was watching live, I was able to get a live bet in against the goalie handicapped team and won lol.
