Josh Allen Becomes a Household Name Tonight... Time to Put the Chiefs to Bed
I mean, sure, us football junkies have known about the Wyoming Cowboy kid for years, but to a lot of casuals his name probably only vaguely rings a bell. But tonight he throws his hat into the ring to be considered amongst the current elites in the league.

It's Buffalo's time to exorcise the ghosts of past Super Bowl futility. Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith etc. Great players, great teams, four AFC champions, but zero Super Bowl titles...

The road to glory started last week by throttling their old nemesis and bully of the AFC East, and will continue tonight by attempting the inconceivable... winning at Arrowhead Stadium twice in the same season.

Then once they get to the AFC title game, they'll be heavy favorites against the Bengals, because Cincy won't be ready for the flying dildos at Orchard Park. All the game planning in the world can't prepare a team for flying dildos. It's the ultimate home field advantage.

And at long last, a return to the Super Bowl, where it's one game for all the marbles... The Bills can finally mend generations of broken hearts in Buffalo. The ultimate hero's journey, complete with confetti and flashbulbs, welling eyes and a hoisting of the Lombardi trophy.

The Bills are the NFL equivalent of the Georgia Bulldogs... It's just their time, their destiny, they won't be denied.

    Bills +2

I will put up some Bills.

But the Bills will have to be disciplined to win this game.

They will have to be on their A game in order to expose KC flaws.

I think you meant to say he lives in a house.

That is a fascinating hot take, and something I hadn't even considered.

I bet if we were to examine the history of quarterbacks who live in house, their playoff records would be near spotless.

I would feel better if kc had a bye last week. You saw the shakiness early vs pitt. Now they are full throttle. This should be a gun slinger classic shootout. Mahomes and Allen might combine for 800 total yards rushing and passing. Buffalo less than 3 point dog at arrowhead tells you all you need to know. Teasing bills up is a lock but with what idk. Maybe the over. Maybe with some ncaa bb plays. Or in an open teaser with next weeks games.

My only concern with Bills is that Goodell would not want to have 4 white QBs in the AFC and NFC championship games.

The left will pound on him that there is discrimination.

So the zebras may help Chiefs if the game is close.

Both dogs did bark yesterday, so the law of averages say both favorites should probably win today. I'm not buying it and will crash and burn with the Rams and Bills myself. Fock it.

Yeah but if you're gonna view it from that angle, just zoom out a little bit and you'll feel better about it... In last week's wildcard round, the favorites won/covered at a 5-1 clip, so the dogs have a lot of ground to make up.

Even with yesterday's results the underdogs are only 3-5, so if both dogs were to win today it'd get us right back to .500 which is pretty much home.

Even if the Bills win he does not become a household name after today.

That is up to the media in the NFL. They don't want that right now.

One of these home teams is going to win today. Tampa is just so banged up so I would lean KC. Then again its easier to trust Allen on the road than Stafford.

I think Stafford makes mistakes and Tampa Runs a lot that's my hope I will not bet against Brady here at Home and Bruce Arians...Let's see if Mcvay and Stafford can go error free and win
                                                I took Tampa Bay -3

I have one thing to say about Rams game. The Rams defense is better than the Saints. And if the OL of Tampa protects like the Saints game Donald and Miller will wreck havoc. When Brady doesn't have time to throw he is average.

All road teams/underdogs so far in the divisional round.

Can the Bills make it a clean sweep?

When the wheel keeps landing red do you ride the streak or bet on black?

last 2 years the moment was too big for allen in his playoff losses barely completing 50% of his passes. with chiefs having a mediocre defense this is his best chance thus far. or it could be a replay of last year when patty spazzed out on him.

Allen's struggles are just indicative of the learning curve that's typical for young guns in huge moments. He's a year older and wiser now, and I believe the Bills are better defensively this year as well... This could be their "turn the corner" moment. They're mostly healthy entering the game, with CB Tre'Davius White being the only guy out. He's a huge piece in the secondary but he's been out for awhile now so they've found ways to cope.
