Time for Steelers to move on
Tomlin is finished. A great 8-9 playoff record. He did find a way to get a crap team to the playoffs this year. Team has a lot of holes, no real QB on the roster is the main one. It would make no sense for him to stick around IMO. The GM Colbert is leaving after the draft. It is time for a reset in Pittsburgh.

Who was Pitt's quarterback before the Big Ben era? He's been there so long I don't even remember. Kordell Stewart?

Him or Tommy Maddox. They both sucked.

I remember Maddox. Damn, Big Ben's been there an eternity. It's gonna be weird seeing another full-time starter in his place.

Their O line was bad, but not as bad as Ben made it seem. I think he must have been really hurt this year because he wouldn’t want to get touched for three quarters (most games) and then his competitive juices would get going and he’d look great…

So true. He looked like he was playing hot potato. He would throw the ball for 5 yds even when it was 3rd and 10. He had multiple games were he avg’d 3-4 yds per attempt

New coordinator this year, maybe he wouldn't let Ben throw the ball. Who knows.

Ben was one of the best qbs of a generation. Was, not is. Was never the same after elbow reconstruction.
