#36Exactly. Raiders held Cincy to FGs but they had to kick 3 FGs themselves. Last drive they got a 30 yd punt and a 15 yd personal foul with enough time left and couldn't get it to OTComment -

#39Yeah, that awful punt was underplayed. I don't even think Tirico mentioned how bad it was other than "30-yard-punt." It basically set the Raiders up to be able to score by not pushing them back further. Even Robbie Gould had a 47-yard punt last week when the Niners punter got hurt.

#43I had forgotten about him. Even with Sunday Ticket, I rarely saw him this season. That said, there are far worse officials than him. Hocculi's kid's crew is incredibly bad. Guessing they will work the Super Bowl.
They punish him for a few bad calls, yet that female ref they put in the Super Bowl last year can't spot a ball to save her life. I will say she's been better this year, but prior years, she's awful, yet the NFL would never fire her for incompetence because every media outlet would report "NFL fires female official."
Didn't Boger do a Super Bowl a few years back?

#44What a lame ass debate.
Who cares? He didn't step out if bounds.
So contrived. So fabricated. So pointless.
And the end of game proves how fake and staged it all isComment -

#46Today was not all Boger's regular season crew. For this game it was a combination of officials from different regular season crews.Originally posted by Smokey McPotThere is a reason why this is only Jerome Boger’s 7th playoff game in 16 years of officiating. He and his crew are consistently horrible.Comment -

#47Raiders should look within their own roster. Raiders bring in Mariota every time they need the QB to be able pickup yards with his feet. Mariota has the ability to do this on every play if he played every play.Originally posted by AribaAribaCincy was the better team. Cincy deserve to win and raiders lost coz they suk balls.
Under pressure Carr can only do 1 out of 4 things (25%) successfully: completion, incompletion, interception, sack.
Mariota bumps those possible success odds to 50% cause he has feet that can move and run.
Why the Raiders remained so tied to Carr is a mystery to me.....Comment -

Who was the black clown that used to be the "go to guy" on TV that LITERALLY got every call wrong on national TV
Blacks either are or they aren't smarter than whites. It's becoming clear that with the speed and intricacy of the game, the situational awareness required to ref, coach or QB in this league is beyond the mental capacity of the black male.
Try as they might to require interviews, force black clowns like Booger or Tirico on TV or intrigue us w daily shouting matches between SAS or SS or CC and sacrifice the integrity of the game by placing HS caliper refs out there based soley on race...the league has passed up the black race, the accumin required to partake in the day to day and play by play needs of the NFL is beyond their abilities.
Someone prove me wrong here...where's the balance in GMs, HCs, winning QBs???
It's not a racial statement at this point, it's a fact, backed up with a preponderance of evidence even a blind man could see!Comment -

#51I hate bad reffing (and actually thought the whistle was earlier than replay showed…but wasn’t recording it….)
Anyway, it was not that bad of a deal for Raiders…I don’t think they would have scored that rebuttal off a FG…(I know, can’t prove it…)
And here’s the point nobody is making (except maybe Raiders HC)…the refs gave a make-up that was even more embarrassing/egregious on that non timeout…
It was embarrassing because somebody gave that directive from ‘upstairs’ …they missed the TO and the Bengals got a big gain. You can’t just do that, and if you watch a replay of the game, you’ll see the sub officials on the sideline looking super embarrassed about it…I don’t think you can give a team a TO after the fact via replay (or huddle)
Bisascia, I think, made reference to this in press conference. I thought that was classy…Comment -

#54I was responding to someone who stated "if they had ruled Burrow out of bounds.."Originally posted by Smokey McPotBecause by rule if there is an inadvertent whistle the play is dead. It doesn’t matter if he was in bounds or not.
Anyways you're missing the point... The Raiders did nothing to actually stop that play, and the whistle did nothing to impede their ability to stop that play. The Bengals earned a touchdown. Had they acknowledged a faulty whistle, it would've been a horrendous call against the Bengals.
Inadvertent whistles are not a good thing obviously, but in the end the correct decision was made. I'm not absolving the officials, but at the same time it's completely disingenuous to act like the Raiders somehow got jobbed.Comment -
