One of my best friends is gone. I have been through a lot in my life and almost never cry. I cried like a baby this morning . I held him on my lap as he passed. My wife sat next to me he reached out to her which was like when we found him 14+ years ago under my car in the rain. Thank you Misty for the greatest 14 years anyone could have ever hoped for. Part of me went with him today. I do not even care about gambling which is rare i just want to heal.

I am very sorry for the loss of Misty.
The unconditional love that our pets give us, make it so painful when they pass and leave a hole that can't be filled.
The pain of his loss will lessen a little as the days go on, but the fond memories will stay with you forever.
I will pour one out for Misty tonight.

I was warned he may pee on me which he did even though i had him cuddled in a towel i guess it is when his heart stops . I did not even care i was balling like a baby at that time. Before he passed I asked him a couple times once he crosses over and sees our other cat tigger to try and come back and give us a sign he is ok. I think if i had a sure sign i would feel better. A couple strange things did happen but i cannot say it was him for sure. I will not get into that now i am in such a bad frame of mind right now but maybe later before our trip or after i will say what happened.
We leave for our trip Monday for the hotel Cruise leaves on Thursday . I hope it helps to cope but i am so crushed right now i do not remember being this bad .Comment -

I cashed in some points on my Celebrity CC and got a picture package for the cruise . Then we got some travel insurance so that is done. We went and i got some new shoes yesterday after we put Misty to rest at Kohls figure lets do that to try and get our minds off what just happened.

So still coping with Misty being gone still hard to deal with . Still miss him by on the chair with me does not feel the same i know it never will again. I try and get Bells to sit with me she does sometimes but not like he used to for hours .
Going tomorrow to start our vacation. Will be bitter sweet . Will love seeing Bermuda and Aliens but will miss my friend. He would have enjoyed a nice anal probe by a superior race. Who would'nt .
The ship leaves on Thursday we are at the hotel until then starting tomorrow. I have since Misty left last Wednesday have not cared the least in betting. I think i played a $4 Draftking bet on that stupid Rocket game. It is addictive but i will stay away because you can lose a ton on that thing. So not betting maybe a little on the ship for a bit .
