    RIP Ronnie Spector
    Sad, sad day in music.

One of the most iconic voices in rock history just passed too young at age 79.
We all throw around the acronym GOAT a little more than it's necessary, but GOAT truly applied to Ronnie.
And anybody who can survive Phil Spector all those years deserves to be considered for Sainthood.

RIP Veronica, you were one of my all time favorites, and will be missed.

Springsteen wrote this, Miami Steve Van Zandt produced this, and Ronnie and Southside Johnny and his Jukes brought it home.

And my personal Ronnie Spector favorite.

The Ronettes and Shangra-Las were 2 of the best girl groups ever. Ronnie and Mary Weiss both had incredible, indelible voices. Both of them were born in NYC. Weird. How the hell is Shangra-Las still not in the Rock n Roll HOF???

The Ronettes were extremely popular in the UK. They were like 3rd behind the Beatles and the Stones.
