    Because a team has something to play for, they will win. Plenty of teams who need to win, will lose. Plenty of teams who have nothing to play for, will win.

      Some injuries are square, yes. Skill position injuries (outside of QB) are typically overvalued by public bettors and that's why I always cringe when I read someone's write-up of a starting tailback out . It's the NFL dude, they've got 3 dudes just like him on that team.

      Injuries that people don't pay enough attention to are on the offensive and defensive line. I love fading TD+ faves with injuries on the O line. I know it's "priced in" to the line, but that's all bullshit. If you have 2 or more starters out on a O line that's a big fave, I'll take the fade blind virtually every single time.
