Some of my accounts have been limited for making too much money from past-posting.
Every account has a value.

I'm up to $1.3 million made past-posting since 2016. I know this because I was at $1.2 last month when I met with my tax guy.
But I also work on Wall Street for a brokerage firm as my main job.
Yes, I pay quarterly estimated taxes on EVERYTHING, including offshore. Some might say that it's stupid to pay taxes on offshore accounts. But since I am always moving large withdrawals around, it can get noticed.
I'm able to sleep well at night knowing that I did the right thing by the IRS.
I have no idea what my family does about their "gambling wins" and their taxes (other than my wife and daughter). All the money earned (by other relatives and friends) is also in their own name/account. Whether they choose to pay taxes on it is their business. Much of my family lives in Florida.Comment -
It should be noted that my days of past-posting will be coming to an end in the next few years, as legalization (and limits) have made it more difficult. But I hit them hard and often before getting limited/banned. From October-April I'm in four hockey arenas (three NHL and one AHL).Comment -
When I'm walking to Madison Square Garden from the subway (or Newark) I walk past homeless people and say to myself "All this guy needs is a computer, a hundred bucks, and a ticket to the game and his life can be turned around."
It's sad in some ways.

What do you mean? Bring your laptop to the game! Much easier with several windows open (for different bets and different books) at the same time.
If using ONE book, I have FOUR windows open at a time from the same book.
Example:
Flyers at Rangers
Screen1: "Flyers to score the next goal."
Screen 2: "Rangers to score the next goal."
Screen 3: "Period x OVER 0.5 goals" (or 1.5 or 2.5 if there have already been goals scored)
Screen 4: "Game total OVER x.5 goals (could be 0.5. 1.5, 2.5, etc)
As soon as I see the puck hit the back of the net, I immediately place THREE wagers: 1- the team who scored the goal, and 2- OVER the period total, and 3- OVER the game total.
Some books also do "team totals" in-play, and I cue that up.
Every arena offers free wifi. I sit way up by myself, center ice. Best spot. Nobody says a word to me.Comment -

I beat the delay on every pitch while I'm in attendance.

As I've said in other posts, I'm not good at technology. There is no paper ticket! It's via an online sportsbook.
I've heard of the term "screenshots" before, but I've never had to do them and wouldn't know how.
Why everybody who is a losing gambler isn't doing this...I don't know why.
As I've said, the books are IDIOTS for offering LIVE BETTING when the puck is in play, the ball is in the air, or the pitcher delivers the pitch.

In Australia, I think it's called "courtsiding" and you can't do it. They do it for tennis.

Again, go to a game! Best thing I ever did was discover the t.v. feed was way behind the AM radio feed, which was AHEAD of the sportsbooks. But IN PERSON is the best. The sportsbooks are behind. Look for a sportsbook that only puts you on a 3-5 second "spinning wheel."Comment -

I live near the Philly stadiums very close in NJ. So you are saying
(This really intrigues me) that if i go to a Phillies game and sit in the higher section i can bet the live as it happens and always win because the site does not update it right away ? I mean if you do this nonstop do they see that you are winning and limit you faster? Can they tell if you were at the game from IP and consider that cheating? I mean if i were ever to try this that would be amazing if it work. Even if they eventually limit me if i could strike fast and hard and win a ton that would be awesome holy crap. I do not go to many games but i would go to try this.
Also curious what are the limits on bets like that? If its $1000 wow you could start with $500 and probably go in on 6 max bets they probably do not get suspicious on just 6 bets. Tony from 5dimes chatted with me back in the day, and said "how are you winning 99% of your bets?" LOL. Heritage risk management emailed me all the time. I tried to throw some losing wagers in there on purpose, so I could last longer. It's not cheating in the USA. I am beating the books at their own game.
DK will probably limit/ban me by the end of this homestand. Then it's on to a new account and a new book.Comment -
