Bucs should Sign Owens !!! Today's NFL is soft as a pillow. Terrell is a monster, even at 48 in his shape.
he's officially asked for a shot.

Tom Osborne is 84 years old and has zero experience playing wide receiver, but he does have three national titles to his credit, so yes, I'd sign him.

You don’t get rid of one head case to turn around and get an older head case
Imagine breaking up w a 25 yr old psycho w a nice rack to date a 45 yr old psycho w a rack 2 inches above her belly button

Quit living in the distant past. Defenses would leave him on an island and be free'd up to focus on other players who aren't eligible for the senior discount at their local movie theater.

My first reaction is NO. Then I thought damn he's ripped and maybe he could still have one more run in him and sign with Tampa since they are so depleted right now.
But did you see how out of breath he was? Age catches up with you. 48 just too old to play WR imo

I bet there are hundreds if not thousands of fooked up athletes with attitudes walking around our ghettos in America with more speed and endurance then TO. But, keeping them focused-NOT a Chance! This is there existence. It will never change. No matter how many shows or commercials show them in another light, the majority of em will always be complete fook ups!

One good hit and he'll be on the IR. No you don't sign 48 year old TO. I'm sure he's lost a few steps also and can't get open anymore. He's a bit mental as well.
I'd maybe let him play at a minimum salary on the practice squad to teach the rookies at best. Player coach maybe that never gets in the game.

Wow you guys must be in real bad shape to think 48 is old.
I am older than that and probably look 100% better than most of you in your 30s.

Packers. They will need everything to beat Tampa Bay. Packers current WR's are great, but they might not like him coming over. Packers just might need a bit more than home field and an already excellent team- Beating Brady, for anyones sake, in big games is much different than regular games. Brady has that mental advantage over anyone in any big game.

Stop it Snowy.. I'm 53 and in good shape myself but can't come close to doing the things I could do in my late 20's and early 30's physically. Especially in a running PRO sport. I was a great athlete too. Father time catches up with us all.
Why do you think almost every NBA basketball player retires before 40 years of age? They can't run or jump as high anymore. Prone to injuries. Same with the NFL. T. Owens no different especially at 48 years of age.
TO wouldn't make it thru a full training camp.

We're not talking about him going through training camp or a full season. We're talking about him catching maybe 2-6 passes per game.
He is in amazing physical condition. He is taller and stronger than most receivers of any age. T.O. knows how to hold on to the ball. He has long reach and will fight hard for extra yardage.
One thing for sure, we'll never know if it doesn't happen. It should have happened 2-3 years ago. But it can still happen now. spippen, I thought of the packers also. Owens is also pitching his skills to Philly.
