Ryab is much improved. Grass is her best surface, then she's decent on hard, then she struggles on clay.
It's that long clay season that keeps her out of the upper crust in rankings.
Her power strokes are going to be tough for Jabeur to handle. Like they were hard on Halep.
I think those of us who backed Halep were lazy. She gets by on smoke & mirrors a lot. The thing is, Ryabakina
didn't beat anyone in this tournament that really made us think twice... that has changed.
