Is it gamesmanship to not let the public know that the season is over and that a team is going to rest players?? Nobody is stupid enough to pull a Doug Pederson, but I'm sure some teams have no plans on making a winning game plan or playing their best players in Week 18. I have a strong feeling that Cincinnati, Minnesota, Carolina, and Green Bay will be resting players. You won't be able to tell if Carolina is resting players though because they are so bad. Tampa Bay might save something for the playoffs too.Comment -

Ive never seen teams give-up like they have this year, especially Giants, Jags and Panthers. I think it has to do with lame owners (especially Khan) who just want a better draft pick (they fully realize what moving up in the draft takes and would just rather lose), and I think Khan really enjoyed the spotlight of having the number one pick. He is an owner who knows nothing and but knows basic math. Covid only compounds all of this, with more excuses and more reasons to give-up....
Two things the NFL needs to change ASAP is that they need to implement a lottery system....If they had one in place this year, some of these teams would have been trying for the last three - five weeks, and you would have much more compelling week 18 games, for a number of reasons.
Change the PAT Rule and bring it back to a short kick. Nobody wants to talk about a kicker missing a PAT as the reason why some team is going home: it's just horrible -and unnecessary pressure...Comment -
