I'm not quite sure if the fix will be in this year.
ESPN got the game they wanted, all the ad spots are sold at 750,000 dollars on the average for a 30 second commercial.

I'm willing to bet on a 28 share, last seasons game got a 26 share.

If the books have pretty much equal money bet on both sides and totals, they wouldn't need zebra help.

Yeah, from a strictly betting/financial standpoint this is a stupid game to try to cap and make money on. From a degenerate/fan POV it's great, of course. I'm on Bama ML just because I got a positive return and I think this game a coin toss. Also, gotta like the better coach and QB.

Agree never make a bet just for the sake of action. These teams know each other and on its face you would expect a close game. I expect to make a pick and if so, not for large.

I think this will be the angle. They may push for Georgia to win so they can sell the revenge game for next year championship. I'm pretty sure with the recruiting classes of Georgia and Alabama the same teams will meet in the final next year.

I don't think they care at all. They got the match up they wanted in Georgia v. Alabama. Their SEC Championship game was a high tv ratings success. The only thing they will want will be a close game that goes into OT so they'll have more commercials.

Georgia is the bet. Better defense is the key as it always is in title games. Bama is just the "reload machine" that's "supposed to win". They got the day off today basically by being able to run it 15+ times more than passing.

I don’t. Kirby is not Smart. Stetson Bennett is not a big game QB. Everyone that likes Georgia keeps touting the regular season. Alabama we’re reigning champs, they got everyone’s best shot no matter what. Who cares if Georgia blitzed a bunch of teams in September and October? Feels nothing like Gonzaga Baylor. I was all over Baylor and it felt nothing at all like this game. Btw given the fact Alabama is a 3 pt dog does not qualify as then being “supposed to win”

This is the only explanation I can think of for Georgia being favored by 3 after they got clapped by Alabama a few weeks ago.
