The playoffs have basically made the bowl games not worth playing or watching. Covid or no covid, why waste your time playing these meaningless games? They're more like preseason games now. Until they expand to 8, 16 or 32 teams, these games will be shit.

I don't understand the need to have 6-6 teams in bowl games. The fact that your team could finish with a losing record and make a bowl game is a joke.

There's a purpose for the programs in general.

Coaches live the e tra time allowed by rules to practice & play.

Most games are destination affairs and thus great 'blow out' parties over the year end holidays.

Lastely- there's money & prestige.

Schools should take these more seriously. Leech did himself a HUGE disservice in recruiting by laying an egg vs TT.

VT & NV & WV as well all sucked ass w no enthusiasm. This is not what networks pay for.
