I didn't see an outright claim in there, but I think the implication was that the desire of players to get out of there and on with their holiday plans will affect the game flow and in turn the total points scored. I guess that would mean they would not play high contact and try to minimize fouls to keep the clock running, but I would think that would lead to more points, not less.

these beats happen all the time... under or 2h under is good by 1-2 pts and dudes are down 10 and keep fouling or a team is up big so with 7 seconds left they let the other team do whatever they want don't guard anyone and let someone basically shoot a 3 like they were at practice

The f nba? I hit the Over in Dallas/Utah last night to cap a parlay, but thats my first nba bet in a month. They don't give effort every night. They do all kinds of stupid shit. I've been doing this a long time and I don't know anyone that beats the nba regularly? I'm sure some do, but its not me.

I had Sac -2 last year to cap off a $700 parlay and they were up 8 and got flagrantly fouled on a breakaway with 1:15 left. So 2 shots and the ball up 8 and they LOST OUTRIGHT!!! They missed 5 fts and Charlotte hit 5 threes in the last minute. For some retarded reason they had some center in there that was 50% from the line and he missed 3 fts. Insane?
