This is terrible. Fading Urban on a weekly basis in the NFL was pretty profitable. I'm not even an NFL guy and cashed on Urban being in the NFL.

I actually like Meyer for doing this. How many times have you lost a dime on a fukkking "professional" kicker? You have one job. Do your fukking job. You can't make the kick, you should get a kick in the nuts.

I think its funny, but you kick me and I'm kicking you back. I no longer see any 5'4" South American kickers in the league that Meyer could beat up with having a heart attack.

I remember in the 80s somebody asked Bobby Knight if he would ever coach in the NBA? He said "Hell no. How am I going to tell Moses Malone to get the lead out of his ass". If Meyer is going to play tough guy then the NFL is not the place to do it

No real mystery here, this idiot had literally done just about everything wrong that you could possibly do, but in the end he was fired for 2 reasons:

1) The Lambo kicking incident
2) Pissing off Trevor Lawrence

Had he somehow managed to avoid these two incidents Khan would’ve at least kept him until the end of the season.

Odd time to fire a coach, at the end of the week just before a game. I can't remember a time when that has happened. It will probably improve the Jags chances going against the Texans this week. Still like the under.

Reports coming in that Urban Meyer alienated players in the building, told coaches every week he was going to fire there ass.

A former coach said that Meyer told his staff, "I had a better coaching staff at Bowling Green, you guys are fukkking terrible."

Urban Meyer was always overrated as a coach. When Mullens left as offensive coordinator and Tebow was gone he got a Xposed at Florida. At Ohio State he only won one national title despite having elite talent.

The big lesson here though is it never makes sense to take a job with bad team in the NFL that doesn't have a quarterback who is ready to win, because owners and fans don't have the patience to wait 2-3 years for a team to rebuild.

If Meyer was winning no one would care about these stories. When you are losing everything gets magnified. Lawrence isn't good enough to win, this team would be trash no matter who the head coach was.

I don't know Morino. This guy took a BG team that never won into a winner immediately. Then he took a Utah team that was a perennial loser into an undefeated season in just 2 years and arguably the best team in the country. Then he came to Florida, took them to 2 titles, the first just 2 years in. Then OSU and won as well. This guy has turned around fledgling programs immediately. You can not dispute his success at the college level.

I think Khan would have kept UM win or lose, if he didn't lose the entire team. It became very evident that Trevor Lawrence was fed up with all the off field shit. That and the Lambo incident were the final straws.

I think the Jags are not very far away from winning. Lawrence is young, he'll get it pretty soon. The Jags defense is fairly good and the offense is close. A good coach will win there.

You would be shocked the shit that goes on in athletics. It is very easy to coverup shenanigans on college campuses. Look at Pedo State. You better believe Meyer had the Columbus police and university police in their pockets at OSU. Same for UF where players were going in and out of jail like a soup kitchen.
