Was a great run. Hard Rock back in the mix Las Vegas. They will rebrand Mirage, build the guitar where the volcano is and life will go on. Spent a lot of time partying at Mirage back in mid 2000's. Revolution Lounge was top end and banged a waitress that worked there. Partied with Mark Cuban, Kid Rock and Floyd Mayweather in JET as well. Great times. Did a bunch of blow in the bathroom. Wonder where "LOVE" the show lands.

Yeah, for a couple of years there the Mirage was the place to be.
Looks like Hard Rock wants to reel in the 20's and 30's crowd.

That was my Vegas hotel stay back in the day. Had many good times at the Mirage. That was the place to be until the MGM came about.

Totally agree fellas. Mirage top end for a while. It changed the game on the strip. Vegas continues to evolve. Interesting to see how Hard Rock comes back in Las Vegas. Place was shitty towards the end. Mostly losers playing penny slots with missing teeth and cabbie hats in the end.

Does anyone know if Circus Circus is still operational in Las Vegas?
That was the very first hotel I went to in LV but not sure if it's still open for business

It is. Family and value price point customer. Still has the arcade, circus midway show, cheap food and small wager tables. Great steakhouse in there as well. Will continue to be operational! Place usually packed. Nice little quiet William Hill sportsbook also.

Yep.
Cigarette burns on the blackjack tables and all.
Look up the word 'cacophonous' in Webster's, you'll see a picture of Circus Circus.

Loved Mirage. Played a lot of 7 card stud there back in the day.
It is time for a change. The property is very out dated.

No chance. MGM sold it in 2019 and it flipped. The original JJGOLD would know this.

True fun fact.
According to the Webster's people, the word cacophony is the harshest sounding word to the ear.
How the Webster's people determine such things is beyond me?

The Hard Rock in Vegas was another fun stop and stay back in the day with that circle bar in the middle. That was also jumping back then. I use to get wasted at the Hard Rock.
Then you had the Rio off the strip with the skybar on the hotel casino roof as a go to late at night along with the rum Jungle at the Mandalay. I use to bounce around those joints trying to pull in trim with the boys.
Oh the good ole days. Jibs use to party it up like a rock star. You boys would have been proud.

Rum Jungle! Now a club called LIGHT. Rum Jungle an all time favorite. We might have been blacked out in there at the same time. Hahahahaha. They closed Red Square and are opening up a lounge there now. Right next door.

Ok I was hoping that it was
Our family loved that hotel because there was the indoor amusement park along with the arcade games plus the racebook which I got in sh*t from the security guard because I picked up a edition of the Daily Racing Form (I was around 12 I believe when we went) so my mom and dad had to bring all the programs back up to our room and look at them there LOL! I remember also picking up Dons Best Schedules and DRF Harness Eye too along with the printed programs
Remember going to other Casino racebooks and getting their printed programs which typically had 3 tracks in a bundle but not 100% if they do that with Equibase anymore but I would love to go back one day!

There was nothing "ghetto" about the Mirage. Sad that everything must change. I didn't care for the colors but the rooms were nice and clean.
Circus Circus? OMG, that has to be the worst casino if you are single? You will never, ever pick up a girl at Circus Circle. You have a better chance of stepping on a Tonka Toy. I did use to love Slots a Fun next door. That's where I first learned how to play crap when I was like 14 years old. They had a loooong hard crap table that you could get amazing dice action. They had nickle craps. Great way to learn crap odds were betting a nickle.
The old Sahara was the rage in those days. They had the best steakhouse on the West coast. I was a big baller there, they'd put me up in some unreally large suites. It was damn near impossible NOT to pick up 1, 2 dare I say 3 women a night there.

The Frontier was that back in the day and they always had protestors out in front protesting something. Ghetto hotel and casino on the strip. The Frontier restaurant had good steak and eggs though if I remember correctly.

The colors lol.
Real nice, she wanted to see the tiger show there.
I remember saying "Who did the colors here, some drag queen on acid"
I just read all the business details.

Very Nice -- Got laid several times in Vegas, but none from Mirage. However, played a lot of poker there and that deli with the big azss sandwiches was amazing. Liked walking over and seeing the white tigers.

Rum Jungle was always packed back in the day, especially on the weekends. Music was loud and it was always hard to talk to chicks. Sardine can when standing.
Back in my mid 20's I didn't mind the packed club scene though. Today I'd look for the exit.
