May I ask why the cap on entries? SBR store has been temporarily closed but is offering a very nice cash amount/pts to winners of this contest. Every PRO member should have the opportunity to purchase a team. Is it just a matter of it being too time consuming for the already overworked MODs? If that is the case, I am sure other members like myself would love to assist with the grading of the contest or do it our self. You guys have a shitload of other shit to get done. Leave the grading to us but at least give all PROs the option to join in. Contest has only been up 2 days and filled already. Duplicate entries should have never been offered if you were having such a low number of allowed entries.

I agree with this idea.

Anyone who wants a single entry or a team with no single entrant in it should get have gotten first dibs, then any spots left over for people wanting a second joint entry.

The reason you limit a $10,000 contest to 80 entries is to get the least bang for your buck possible.

I ain't whining, didn't have the points up front so my bad. The fact there's even a contest with all the changes is a surprise (a good one) so wasn't prepared. But I do think if there's going to be an overall cap then there should be a "one entry per member" limit. Solo or team but not both. This contest has no problem filling up and there's always those who wanted in that miss out. My 2¢. Good luck everyone.

I have played this contest almost every year. Given all the noise, delays in getting trivia points and nothing in the store, I was not expecting this would occur this year. Glad that it is happening. However, this contest is one of the reasons many people are Pros and this year especially limiting the contest does not seem like a smart business plan and some of the previous posters highlighted the reasons. My pro renewal is approaching, will have to really think about it. Good luck to those fast enough to enter.

You cant do anything about it this year, but next year you really need to give any and all pros like at least 5-10 days to sign up. Then allow extra entries for any teams if possible.

Also, can we stop offering the Title Game as such a big pick? I mean we are in a handicapping contest where we pick our best 15 games. Then we are forced to take that final game for a higher value? I always hated that last pick even though I made the money one year and won the last pick

Guys, remember we posted contest like 2 weeks later than we normally would have while awaiting approval, so we really did not have the luxury of waiting week for full entries only. First bowl is next Friday and we are posting lines on Monday, which is actually less than a week after we posted contest.

Next year definitely, provided we could post contest week before Selection Sunday.

If we get approval early enough next year to post week before Selection Sunday, will be full entries only (no teams) first 7 days. There was just not enough time for that this year.

You can do that privately, but the original entrant needs to submit picks, and don't ask SBR to get involved if your deal goes bad.
