Yeah SWAC teams always have brutal schedules to start. Texas Southern seems to be the one who can actually get an upset here and there

They beat Oregon and Baylor in recent times I do believe. Baylor was like two years ago too I think! Pretty much the national title team

They played two ranked teams before Fla. and lost them both by 17, they lost to La Tech by 27 in their previous game. No way could anyone see this coming.

It's basketball not football. They put two halves together and won.

Just look at the box score. They shot better with more shot attempts and out rebounded even with 12 more turnovers. It's not like Florida is such a great team they're unbeatable.

I didn't even watch the game and I can already tell Florida was just chucking up 3s and bricking.

They have done this for a few years now They play teams from major conferences all at the better teams home court and they improve so by SWAC conference play they sure aren't intimidated by any of those teams. worked well last 2 seasons 2019-2020 they started 3-10 vs mostly very good teams then went 13-6 finished 16-16
2020-2021 even better they started 2-7 then went 14-1 won conf tourney made the ncaa tourney won the play in game then lost to mich in the next round Maybe more teams should try this
