We were spoiled growing up in the 1980s. Just about all sports were 10x better(tennis being an exception). We seen Defenders allowed to fvcking crush QBs as well as safeties tee off on receivers. In hoops, we seen teams not shoot from long range and also play defense and just beat the hell out of someone wanting to drive into the paint. Hockey was just brutal the fights. Boxing we had Tyson,Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Duran. What more could we ask for? That 1983 draft NFL..Holy f\*\*k...

I guarantee most of us here were Canes fans after they got off the airplane in those Army fatigues in 1986. My 1st NCAA football losing bet with a bookie at age of 13 Miami -7. One of the best most stacked teams ever assembled against a bunch of no name white boys from PA.

It is no wonder I turned into a degenerate. 1st bet was Mets in Buckner game. No shit. That year had Leonard over Hagler and Hoosiers over Syracuse. I was getting fvcked line wise and didn't even know it as just took the bets straight up from kid sat next to me in home room. If I only lost all those bets, God only knows how much money I would have.
