#17Shaw is a fukking clown. He was good when he had Andrew Luck. He has made some really stupid moves over the last few years. Saw him down 16 very late in the game score a TD, not go for 2 and then went onside kick. Only reason they beat Oregon was atrocious officiating, end of game in particular and Oregon was missing their oc.Originally posted by stake1I’m going with Shaw or LaneComment

#21Kelly is a good coach, but does he ever make a lot of dumb calls during the course of a game, especially big games.

But it's a good move for him. He's getting more money, the academics are no longer an issue, and he's hoping Saban quits within 3 or 4 years and he can win the SEC West consistently.

He also bails out at the right time. Notre Dame's schedule next year is 100 times harder than the schedule they played this year. He was looking at 8-4 next year.Comment

About the only reason ND would bring him in is because he knows how to recruit at a school with academic standards.Comment

#31Definition of a pussy though. Competitors should want the challenge....esp with the kids he recruited and played so hard for him. They haven't had great talent or great schedules, but they've still won at a historic rate for him.Originally posted by Mac4LyfeWhich is probably why he left. He's a weasel and a scumbag. I think Riley is dumb too, but not even close to BK. I'm thinking Ok St wins and then ND will be out anyway, but computers say they have 58% chance. I will be rooting hard for ND if they get in. Freeman is not just a token black coach. He can coach and recruits like a MFer too. OU should hire him if ND screws around

I think Kelly realized that he can't recruit the best talent at ND in order to compete at the highest level. He is a rat but with all the talent LSU has and gets, he will quickly turn them into a contender, which sucks for me as Florida fan.

I can never fault a man for making his own choices. He's got $100 million reasons that is insane.Comment

#34Here's an interesting possibility. Say Georgia beats Bama to knock them out, Michigan wins, Ok State wins but Cinci loses a close one to Houston.

Does Notre Dame get the last spot at 11-1, when Cinci is 12-1 and beat ND in South Bend?Comment

#35Everyone will remember. He's leaving a team that has a shot of making the playoff THIS YEAR. How can anyone leave a team at this point in the season is just plain wrong. I'd have no issue if he left after Sunday assuming they were out of the top 4.Originally posted by Mac4LyfeJake - no one will remember how he left.
