#37do they still have entire roads closed for tent city off the strip ?Originally posted by big joe 1212I’ve been here all week.
Definitely a lot different since Friday.
Monday - Thursday it was a light crowd. Friday all the jerkoffs came to town. Fremont loaded with Hawaiians (Hawaii football) staying at California casino. Raider fans everywhere acting like fukksticks
Downtown only place you can find good craps odds. Only a few shops still offer 3/2 BJ
Prices are insane at strip restaurants. I have rental car so I’ve been driving local places to eat.
Fremont casinos very very crowded this weekend. I say they have already recovered. It’s just a different crowd nowComment -

Hit the palace station oyster bar, the pan roast and house gumbo are both incredibly good.

#50This post is spot on. Unless you are hunting for pussy, it's better to just go during the weekdays because the weekends are hella busy and the prices are jacked up. I usually get a rent a car but now, you have to pay for parking to get into most hotels on the strip. Then you have to deal with a shit load of automatic shuffle machines, horrible odds and poor food. I use to come to Vegas to be on the strip but now it's like they are purposely forcing you off it. I can go to the Bahamas for a lot less, the food is better and so is the scenery/beach.Originally posted by big joe 1212Monday - Thursday it was a light crowd. Friday all the jerkoffs came to town. 1) If the USA was truly energy independent then why were we still buying millions of barrels of oil from the Mideast?
2) It cost more for USA companies to produce oil than we were buying from the Mideast for when we were 'energy independent' so how does that lower cost?
Thanks in advanceComment -

#64To answer your question. The only way to become energy independent is with renewable energy. We do not produce enough oil for what we consume daily.Originally posted by jackpot269Ive ask these question in 2 other threads nobody has answered and since you brought it up thought i would ask again
